Hey, I'm Hazel, welcome to my website! I'm a nineteen-year-old queer bedroom pop artist from the UK, and I've been making music ever since I could pick up a guitar. I've spent the past few lockdowns working on my debut album and latest music video, so I'd love it if you checked them out!

Q - What is the song 'Sofia' about?
A - 'Sofia' reflects on my own experience, which is about the first crush I ever had on a girl, whose name was Sofia. I felt like my feelings were 'like a crime' due to society. It acts as a message to all LGBTQ teens out there who are struggling with their sexuality due to social pressures, homophobia, and fear of judgement from others. Don't be afraid to be unapologetically yourself!

Q - Who is your biggest inspiration?
A - I hate to sound cliche, but my mum has been a massive supporter throughout my journey. I wouldn't be where I am today without her. The LGBT advocate and icon Elton John has also been a massive inspiration. He highlighted the importance of being openly gay and proud. In the music video for Sofia, my friend Ana wore big red heart-shaped sunglasses, paying homage to Elton.

Q - What song will you make a music video for next?
A - Probably Pretty Girl, as the song along with Sofia has become very popular online, thanks to TikTok. TikTok is good for promoting new and upcoming artists' music.
